MENTORING PROGRAMME

EMPOWERING UNDERGRADUATES WITH ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND GUIDANCE FOR A CAREER IN THE SPACE SECTOR.
Programme Overview
Welcome to our mentoring programme designed to help undergraduates navigate and develop essential personal and professional skills for a career in the space sector. Over the course of twelve months, mentees will focus on developing their leadership and entrepreneurial skills for a successful career in space. NB. No homework!!!
The programme consists of one-to-one mentoring with a professionally matched and trained mentor, leadership development and industry engagement events within a rolling twelve month period.
Our programme places a strong emphasis on creating an inclusive environment, offering a community where underrepresented minorities can excel. Additionally, the programme offers the opportunity for mentees to give back and establish a pipeline of mentors for future cohorts.
Programme Launch Timeline
The Programme launched in the Autumn of 2024. Training our mentors ready to match with our first cohort will begin in January 2025. Our mentorship programme is supported by professional coaching and mentoring companies, and volunteer mentors from across the space industry. Our goal is to nurture a workforce of young, qualified graduates that will drive the future of space.
